What system do you use?

We use a fully automated image based backup facility which copies and safely stores an entire image of your server for you to use should you so need. You can request this be set up from installation or enable it from your Tagadab control panel.

You can take three image backups at any time - a daily, a weekly and a snapshot - and you can schedule and re-schedule these backups from within your Tagadab control panel.

What happens when I need to restore?
You can restore your backups at any time from within your Tagadab control panel. The relevant backup will be named (by you) and you just need select the required backup and select 'restore'. The backed-up image will replace whatever data is held on your server completely.

What's the cost?*

There's no set up fee and you're charged a fixed amount based on the VPS's disk size:

SVS1000 = £7.00 per month

SVS2000 = £14.00 per month

SVS3000 = £20.00 per month

SVS4000 = £25.00 per month

PVS250 = £2.50 per month

PVS500 = £5.00 per month

PVS1000 = £8.75 per month

PVS2000 = £17.50 per month

If you're interested in applying backups to an existing virtual server please login to your Tagadab control panel, navigate to your VS's summary page and select the backup option. If you'd like to install it on your new virtual server, just ensure you tick the option on signup (you can always install it later if required).
